Traditional peoples refer to the natural world as "all my relations". Flowers, fish, insects and humans are connected by countless dynamic cycles that sustain us.in an intricate living web - beginning with the ocean.
Turning the Tides is working with traditional peoples, teachers and scientists to develop curricula that
- re-identifies us as active participants in a living system
- prepares students for responsible stewardship
- teaches methods to reconnect with the earth
- promotes a deeper consciousness of nature.
